Why we collect information

SurveySays collects demographic information to create survey groups and help compare responses among people with different backgrounds.

How information is used

The information you submit is used to display your demographic profile. As survey features are developed, demographic information is intended to support grouping and comparing survey responses.

How information is stored

In this classroom version, submitted information is stored temporarily in the application's memory, rather than in a database. It is lost when the application restarts.

The current version uses shared storage rather than individual user accounts. Other users may see or replace the saved information. Please use fictional information when testing the application.

Your choices and privacy

Required fields are marked on the form. You may leave optional fields blank or select "Prefer not to answer" where available. You can change the currently saved information through the Edit Demographics page.

Do not enter sensitive identifying information such as passwords, Social Security numbers, financial account details, or your exact home address.
